To help you meet your educational expenses, Nebraska Wesleyan University offers E-Cashier as a convenient budget plan. E-Cashier is a tuition management plan that provides you with a low cost option for budgeting tuition and other educational expenses. It is not a loan program. You have no debt, there are no interest or finance charges assessed, and there is no credit check. The only cost to budget monthly payments through Nelnet Business Solutions is a $45 per year nonrefundable Enrollment Fee. The Enrollment fee is automatically deducted within 14 days of the agreement being posted to the Nelnet system.

How E-Cashier Works
Using E-Cashier is simple. You may budget your costs one of three ways:

1. Payment in FULL - This is available at no cost to you. Payment in Full is deducted electronically from a checking or savings account you have designated.

2. Monthly Payment Plan (ACH) - ACH payments are those payments you have authorized Nelnet Business Solutions to process directly with your financial institution. It is simply a bank-to-bank transfer of funds that you have pre-approved for your expenses at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Payments may be made from either your checking or savings account. Payments are processed on the 5th or 20th of each month and will continue until the balance is paid in full.

3. Credit Card Option - If you elect to use this option, you may either pay in full or have your monthly payments automatically charged to the credit card you designate (Mastercard, Discover, and American Express are accepted). Contact Nelnet Business Solutions directly for this option. A convenience fee of 2.75% will be added to your transaction.

If you wish to enroll in a payment plan or make a Payment in Full with Nelnet Business Solutions, you will need the following information:

Frequently Asked Questions

1. When and what time will the funds be withdrawn from my bank account?

Nelnet Business Solutions specifies the date each payment will occur but it is your financial institution that determines the time of day the payment is debited. Nelnet recommends you check with your financial institution to determine how far in advance funds should be deposited into your account to insure the automatic payment clears. If a payment date falls on a weekend or holiday, the payment will be attempted the following business day. For the Pay in full option, your payment will be posted to your tuition account as received by your bank (approx 10 days).

2. How will I be notified of my payment information?

Once your agreement is posted to the Nelnet Business Solutions system, you will receive a confirmation notification of your payment amount by e-mail or letter. Payments will be processed until the total balance is paid in full. The notification has important information you must have to log on to your Nelnet Business Solutions Account. The notification also serves as a reminder that a $45 per year nonrefundable Enrollment Fee will be processed from the account indicated on the agreement.

3. Can I pay by phone with Nelnet Business Solutions?

In accordance with the Terms & Conditions of your Nelnet Business Solution agreement, payments are processed electronically. Nelnet does not accept payment by phone.

4. Does Nelnet automatically adjust my account due?

If you add courses or incur any additional charges, these additional charges will not be automatically added to your payment plan. To make changes to your payment plan, contact Nelnet Business Solutions at 800-609-8056.
